In our latest case study, we dive into Redhead’s work supporting the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan (CEDAM) on marketing for the Michigan Children’s Savings Account Network. The Network, consisting of 17 programs across the state, aims to help students save for their postsecondary education through Children's Savings Accounts (CSAs). Recognizing the marketing capacity challenges faced by program leaders, Redhead developed a comprehensive CSA Program Marketing Toolkit, complemented by instructional videos and regular tips in newsletters, to ensure effective implementation.

The Modern Medicine is a rich, bold cocktail that combines bourbon with smoky Scotch. Aperol adds a hint of bitterness, while lemon juice and demerara syrup balance the flavors with tartness and sweetness. Finished with aromatic bitters and a lemon twist, this cocktail is an adventurous and layered experience for whiskey enthusiasts.

Preparation

  1. Combine the bourbon, Aperol, fresh lemon juice, Demerara Syrup, and bitters in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over ice.
  2. Carefully float the scorch over the top of the cocktail by slowly pouring it over the back of a bar spoon.
  3. Garnish with a lemon twist.
