What does transparency bring to relationships? We've worked with organizations where the world is wide open, as well as those who are all veils and secrecy. Today we want to share some thoughts on the benefits transparency can bring to the table.

We've all seen the blog posts and articles about transparency as it relates to leadership. But, for business owners, there are two distinct types of transparency: that with your team, and that with your clients. In this episode, we discuss the differences between the two and the benefits and setbacks of being open. Because transparency isn't always a good thing.

Summer's here and that means patio time. This pitcher perfect vermouth-filled cocktail is light enough to drink all day and strong enough that you won't know it until it's too late. Pour that second glass at your own risk.

Ingredients

  • 1⁄2 cup Dolin Vermouth
  • 1⁄4 cup simple syrup
  • 12 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Champagne, for serving
  • Orange twists for garnish

Preparation

  1. Combine vermouth, simple syrup, and bitters in a pitcher. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Pour 3⁄4–1 oz. mixture into coupe glasses.
  3. Top each with 2–3 oz. champagne.
  4. Garnish with orange twists.
