Strategy Series 12: How Animation Brings Video Marketing Plans To Life
Animation and motion graphics are great video marketing solutions, especially when circumstances such as time, budget, or safety don’t allow for in-person filming. In our twelfth Strategy Series minisode, Karen dives into how we can use animation to improve our videos and, ultimately, meet our business goals.

Animation is a powerful video tool that is often overlooked. Animation can be used to demonstrate science at the cellular level, show an entire kitchen simultaneously in chaos, explain abstract concepts, or even make your software come to life. In short, animation can get the job done.

Animation and motion graphics are phenomenal video marketing solutions that give us other options for video when in-person filming isn't available to us. However, if you've never used animation in your business projects before, you understand that it can seem a little daunting. When it comes to launching an animation project, where do you start? This week, Karen breaks down the details of how we can use animation, a generally underutilized tool, to meet our business goals.

Whiskey
The Third Man
Going through some big changes? (Or maybe just a long week?) Take a minute to slow down, reflect, and pour yourself a glass of The Third Man. This bourbon drink is the perfect palette cleanser; it sips sweet at first, then is rounded out by the bitterness of grapefruit and Campari. With the bite from the bourbon topping off the citrus flavor, this drink will become a staple in your bartending repertoire. Grab your favorite bourbon (we used George Dickel) and mix in a splash of grapefruit juice, lemon juice, Campari, and simple syrup for a complex symphony of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. George Dickel bourbon
  • 1 oz. grapefruit juice
  • 3/4 oz. lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz. Campari
  • 1/2 oz. simple syrup
  • A grapefruit twist, to garnish

Preparation

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice until chilled.
  2. Strain over ice in a rocks glass.
  3. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.
