So they’ll unpack what it’s like to pretend you have it all together, even when you don’t. They’ll talk about the cost of faking it, and how important it is to take off the mask once in a while.

Being honest about how difficult it is, how you got disappointed or how you lost a client—that isn’t the norm. Somehow that honesty communicates weakness. The extent to faking it in the creative industry is so pervasive that sometimes business leaders don’t even know they are doing it.
