A creative job is hardly wholly creative. The rest of the job ensures that the creative work is manageable, on target, and effective.

Creatives just want to be creative, but there’s more to the job than pure creativity. There are wraparound parts and other skills that are needed to get to the final product. Strategic thinking and project management are needed to understand the problem at hand and to get the details right. Honestly, all the non-creative parts are beneficial and make us more whole-rounded.

Citrusy, just the right amount of bitterness, and oh-so fresh tasting — Mr. Howard is a mocktail using Seedlip Spice 94, a distilled non-alcoholic spirit. When you’re in Mr. Howard’s company, there really isn’t any reason to imbibe.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Seedlip Spice 94
  • 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp sugar syrup
  • Garnish: Star Anise

Preparation

  1. Add Spice 94, grapefruit juice, lemon juice & sugar syrup to a shaker with ice.
  2. Double strain into a coupe glass.
  3. arnish with star anise.
