How Inner Strength Propels Community Strength — Featuring Guest April Clobes
This episode, we are very excited to sit down with a woman who has demonstrated leadership both in our community and beyond: April Clobes, president and CEO of Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU). April worked her way up from an entry-level job at MSUFCU all the way to the credit union's president through hard work, curiosity, and finding herself a seat at the table. We discuss how discovering inner strength played a role in April's professional growth, and how remaining community-minded continues to propel her career and organization today.

Working your way up from an entry-level job all the way to CEO sounds like a dream come true — but professional success doesn't happen overnight. We're thrilled to kick off the new year with an episode featuring our special guest April Clobes, president and CEO of Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU).

April is proof that success comes from inner strength, community-mindedness, and a whole lot of sleeve rolling. In addition to her work at MSUFCU, April sits on an astounding number of boards that constantly keep her on her toes. How can we balance and blend the work within our organizations with the work within our communities? How can we stay grounded while embracing new opportunities?

This week, April sits down to share how hard work, curiosity, and saying yes molded her career into what it is today. Tune in for an inspirational leap into 2021.
